Authentication and account linking
Member access is provided using Google authentication. Signing in with Google does not, by itself, create a club membership or give access to club records.
Access is available only where the club has invited or authorised the relevant person and linked the authenticated Google account to the corresponding member record.
You must use only your own authorised Google account. You must not allow another person to access club information through your account or attempt to access a member record that has not been assigned to you.
Membership and shooting records
The service allows authorised members to review and, where permitted, update personal details, view attendance information, and review shooting activity or firearms-use information associated with their membership.
Club officers may create, review, correct, and retain these records to administer the club, protect safety, meet firearms-licensing obligations, and respond to lawful police or regulatory requests.
A member must not alter, conceal, falsify, or attempt to interfere with an attendance, safety, firearms, ammunition, or shooting-activity record. Where a record appears incorrect, the member should report it to an authorised club officer for review.
Safety, safeguarding, and lawful disclosure
The safety of members and the public takes precedence over continued access to the online service.
Where the club reasonably believes that a safety, safeguarding, security, firearms-licensing, or legal concern exists, it may restrict account access, preserve relevant records, investigate activity, and disclose proportionate information to the police, emergency services, regulators, insurers, safeguarding bodies, or professional advisers.
Nothing in these terms prevents the club from taking immediate and proportionate action to protect a person, secure firearms or ammunition, comply with the law, or assist a lawful investigation.
Account closure and former members
Ending membership or disabling online access does not automatically erase the underlying membership, attendance, shooting, safety, or regulatory records.
Former-member records may be marked as inactive or deleted within the live application while being securely retained for the period required by the club’s legal, regulatory, safeguarding, insurance, and records-retention responsibilities.
Club membership records are normally retained for at least six years following cancellation or termination of membership. Records may be retained longer where a documented legal or operational requirement applies.
